This is part 3 of the review and swatches of MAC's Alluring Aquatic collection. I kept the best for the last. This part of the review features Eye Shadows, Blushes and Nail Lacquers. MAC Alluring Aquatic Extra Dimension Eye Shadow (Mini)MAC Alluring Aquatic Collection for Summer 2014

MAC says:

A liquid-powder Eye Shadow with prismatic reflections in six shimmering tints. Impact ranges from sheer crystallized light to a highly polished metallic effect. Lasts up to six hours. Limited-edition teal packaging, dramatically accented with sheer water droplets.

I think:

I am a die hard fan of MAC eye shadows but the eye shadows from this collection are phenomenal. MAC did an excellent job with color selection and quality. The shadows have the signature extra dimension embossing on top. The quality of the shadows may be even better than their permanent collection. The color pay of the shadows is off the chart. All the shadows are beautiful! The shadows are warm toned and hence will look great on almost everyone. The shimmer is finely milled and gives a lovely sheen. There aren't enough words for expressing how beautiful the whole collection of these shadows is!

There are 6 different eye shadow colors in the collection. The color Lorelei as per MAC is a golden beige color but to me is a peachy champagne color. The color Fathoms Deep is as per MAC is a deep blue color but to me it is a beautiful metallic purple color. It seems to be the big brother of Satin Taupe by MAC. The color Legendary Lure as per MAC is a deep cerulean color but to me it is a metallic peacock green color. The color Soul Serenade as per MAC is a deep plum brown color but to me it is a metallic asphalt color. The color Sea Worship as per MAC is a tarnished Olive color but to me it is an antiqued golden color with olive hue. The color Silver Sun as per MAC is a mid tone dirty seafoam green and I agree with the color description. I don't have a favorite out the colors as all of them are equally amazing. The shadows have the signature extra dimension embossing on top.

MAC says:
A liquid-powder blush with prismatic reflections in two shimmering shades. Impact ranges from sheer crystallized light to a highly polished metallic effect. Lasts up to six hours. Limited-edition teal packaging, dramatically accented with sheer water droplets.

I think:
MAC launched only two blushes as apart of this color. These blushes are simply beautiful. The color Seduced at Sea as per MAC is a mid tone neutral plum but to me it is a beautiful coral color with slight sheen. The color See me, Hear me as per MAC is a Beige Pink which I agree with. The colors are gorgeous and would look great on majority of skin colors and tones. This is definitely the highlight of the collection for me. I simply loved it. I never really explored MAC blushes but this collection is definitely an ice breaker for me. The blushes have the signature extra dimension embossing on top.

MAC Alluring Aquatic Nail Lacquer

MAC says:
Under the sea, nails glisten in aquatic chrome, tarnished gold and sparkling platinum. High-gloss formula contains conditioners and UV protection. Limited-edition teal packaging, dramatically accented with sheer water droplets.

I think:
I don't believe in paying an exorbitant price for nail lacquers so I never explored MAC nail lacquers. The price point of nail lacquers of this collection is even higher than their permanent collection. MAC launched three colors as a part of this collection. The color Shimmering Sands as per MAC is Sparkling Sand color, but to me its a silver color with sparkly texture. The sparkle is quiet fine which makes the texture interesting. Even after three coats I could see the nail though the polish. The color seems slightly duo-chromatic as it gives off silver and grey shine depending on how light hits the surface. The color Neptune as per MAC is a tarnished gold color and I agree with the description. The color Neptune and Shimmering Sands fail to impress me as the colors are not out the ordinary. However the color Submerged is really stunning. The color Submerged is dark teal chrome as per MAC and I agree. All the colors are quick drying. The formula is very sheer and needs about 3-4 coats for an opaque look.
