MAC Alluring Aquatic Collection : Color - Part 2 || Mini Review and Swatches

Hi Everyone!!

This is part 2 of the Review and Swatches of MAC's Alluring Aquatic Collection. This collection is really extensive and that is why I had to spit up the review into three parts. If you have not read Part 1 of the Review of MAC Alluring Aquatic Collection then do click HERE to read that blog post. Part 1 talks about the collection in general and also features Lipsticks and Eyeliners. In this post I will be reviewing the Lip Glasses and Lip Liners.

MAC Alluring Aquatic Tinted Lipglass Review and Swatches

MAC says:
High-gloss, glass-like finish tinted with color. Wear it alone or pair it with Lipstick for a perfectly glossed look. Limited-edition teal packaging, dramatically accented with sheer water droplets.

I think:
The color Clear Water as per MAC is a Sheer Nude with Multidimensional pearl. The color Peachstock as per MAC is a creamy true nude color which I agree with. The color Water Deities as per MAC is a Light bronzey pink color but to me it is champagne color. The color looks totally different on MAC's website and is a very poor representation of the actual color. The color Seducing Sound as per MAC is a Midtone Plummy bronze but to me it is a true bronze shade. I think it will look great over a terracotta colored lipstick. The color Modern Lure as per MAC is a Deep violet with pink pearl and I couldn't agree more. I think it will look great on top of MAC's Rebel.

All in all, I didn't love this part of the collection. It just didn't delight me as much as the shadows and the blushes which will be featured in part 3 of this mini series. But if you like MAC lip glasses then do try Seducing Sounds. It is really pretty.

MAC says:
A pencil designed for shaping, lining or filling in the lip. Smooth, creamy texture in soft burgundy and light nude. Limited-edition teal Alluring Aquatic packaging.

I think:
MAC launched two lip pencils with this collection and I think they are quiet complimentary to the lipsticks from the collection. The color Half-Red as per MAC is a soft burgundy color but to me it is a brick red color. The color What Comes Naturally as per MAC is a Light Nude and I agree with the description. I really like the color Half-Red as it will work with a variety of lipsticks and also will suit my pigmented lips. I think people of a variety of skin colors would enjoy this particular shade.

Quick Facts:
Net Wt: 1.45g/0.05 US oz.
Price: US $16.50

That rounds up part 2 of the review of the collection. I love how this collection can be enjoyed by makeup artists and us girls looking for everyday makeup. The packaging of this collection is really enticing and makes me want to buy everything. But this collection is priced much higher than the permanent collection, so I am in a big trouble.

Do share your thoughts on the collection in the comment section below. What would you like to own from the collection? I am hooked on the eyeshadows and blushes which I will be reviewing in Part 3 of the review. So do read that post as it will be a treat for your eyes.
